My best friends

When I play with my friends they sometimes be nice to me but I still like them as a best friend. I always go with them to church every Sunday’s and I always play with them at home after school. Or I go with them to G.I to get something to eat. But sometime I sleep over there house.e nice to me but I still like them as a best friend. Kawau Island camp.

On Tuesday we went to Kawau Island at seven o,clock in the morning. Then we all put our bags in the bus and we went to Sandspit to go on a ferry. When we got to Sandspit we took our bags out of the bus and we put them in the ferry, then we went to Kawau Island.

When we got to Kawau Island we had to go for a long walk to the other side on Kawau Island and we were skimming rocks, when we went back to our cabins we went to put our bags in. Then we went for a swim and we were having a lot of fun. After that we went to have a sower and then we had free time on the park .

Camp to Kawau Island

Hi my name is Serena and I have packed my bag to go to Kawau Island.
When I go to Kawau Island I will have lots of fun and I will have a great time there. In my bag I have a towel and one sleeping bag , one toilet bag , one toothpaste , one toothbrush , one toilet roll , one shampoo/conditioner , one soap , one brush , three plastic bag , five pairs of underwears , one togs , four T-shirts , two tracks , four shorts , four pairs of socks , two jersey , one pair of pyjama , one pair of shoes , one jandals , one pair of water shoes , one raincoat.

Sunday the 25th September 2011 Fiji will play against Samoa at Eden Park. I hope Samoa wins as i'm half Samoan and I would very much like for my Island to win against Fiji.

Pirates

Pirates
One day there was a ship anchored in the deep blue sea.
It was a pirate ship and the pirates went on a little boat to a sandy beach. After they had come to the sandy beach two pirates went to look for some coconuts and the
pirate captain sat on a big rock and he took of his red pirate jacket. Then the three pirates drank the coconut juice because they were thirsty. When they were finished they went to look for a treasure.

Serena and Moala are redesigning the courtyard

We are redesigning our courtyard.
Our first idea is to put some fake mushroom chairs in our garden. We chose it so we can sit and eat our lunch.We need them so we can not sit on the deck. We found Mushroom chairs at Bed Bath and Beyond for $130 each.

Our second idea is to put log seats in the corner of the courtyard. We like them because it is just better for ouryard because more people can sit on them.We found one from the country log chairs it is $60.00 each.

Our third idea is to put up a basketball hoop. We chose it so we can play with it every day if we are bored.We need it because there are not enough basketball hoops in our school.We found it in the basketball hoops store they are 212.00 each.

What we have found out.
We had found out to concrete the whole courtyard smootly cost $7-8000

We truly think that the parents should come and help so it can be more cheaper than paying a builder.

Fatu Feu'u Flax Prints

In room 17, Friday Miss Muiaumseii told us to keep going on with
our art work. Miss Muiaumseii told me to put it in the laminator
so Miss Ouano can laminate the pictures for our kete. I will use ink to print my picture on my kete .When I show people I want them to think that it is really good.
I chose this design because I think it is the best design out of Fatu
Fe u'u pictures.

Playing Netball

POPPING POPCORN

Today we made our popcorn in the popcorn machine, it was really entertaining at first then we had a go at making it.

The first thing we did was getting out all the equipment we needed like ,cups, and seeds and that’s all we needed for making popcorn,We made popcorn with Mrs Slade and Mrs Tepania in the literacy room. After we made the popping popcorn we ate it and we said thankyou to Mrs Slade and Mrs Tepania I wish we could do that again sometime soon.

Today we had some popcorn. We had two different popcorns to taste.The first one we ate was the Candy coated popcorn and when I tasted it it was so yummy that I could not stop eating it. It was sweet and crunchy too. After that we ate the caramel popcorn. I didn’t like the caramel popcorn because it tasted a little bit yuck but some people liked that popcorn.

Japan Earthquake

When Japan had an Earthquake there was lots of smoke around their country.
When Japan had a tsunami I felt so sad that they had a tsunami and an earthquake. When I saw the tsunami and earthquake on my netbook there were big
waves hitting the buildings and cars. Japan was so dangerous that when the tsunami was coming
it hit the people and some have died and some buildings have been destroyed big time.

Tornado

Yesterday in the afternoon there was a big tornado in Albany.
When the tornado hit all of the cars and hit all of the buildings
I was so scared that it was coming towards Auckland.When
it was going past Albany it went to another place.It went
across the sea towards Pt Chevalier.The tornado was so
huge that I could not believe that the huge tornado was
massive.

Cricket

This is Litia and she is going to show us how to bat. We can see that Litia has a sun hat on her head and we can see that she has one feet back and one feet forward and we can see that she is getting ready to bat.

MISS SLADE CLASS

In Miss Slade’s class we go and wait for her at her table with our books and pens.
When she gets there we sit up on her table and wait for her to tell us when we can
open our books.After when she tell us to open our book she says write the date on
the top of the line.Then she first tells us to write something about the Christchurch
earthquake.

My family comes from the Cook Islands and Samoa but I was born in Auckland New Zealand.What I like doing at school is to learn more work.What I like about school is going on my netbook and to do some comments.At home I help my mum clean the garden.What I would like to do in my life is to be a teacher.

After when we got there we set the tent up for camp.
